The high-quality special dacron remains low-stretch in all directions – even under extreme forces. Thanks to an elaborate annealing and coating process, ExoTex 2 achieves an extremely high tensile strength and is still lightweight. You will experience the added value on the water through easier upstreaming, an explosive lift and a defined turning behavior.
CORETEX® 2 CANOPY
MAXIMUM STABILITY AND DURABILITY
The CoreTex® 2 canopy, which was developed exclusively for CORE, is particularly robust and stiffened thanks to a triple reinforcing thread and a special coating process. CoreTex 2 sets the standard in breaking strength, tear resistance, longevity, UV protection, and elongation. Experience the tight, crisp, and signature feel that only a CoreTex kite delivers.
EXOTEX® LIGHT STRUTS
LIGHTER.
JUST AS ROBUST.
While the ultra resistant ExoTex 2 is used for the leading edge, the struts are made of ExoTex Light. It incorporates a radial thread pattern and emulsion (protective coating) process that reduces mass by approximately ten percent. This combination saves weight, optimises turning behaviour and increases driftability.

PLAYFULLY LIGHT
Two less struts means two more benefits. On the one hand, the Nexus 4 turns faster, more directly and more freely than a comparable five-strut construction – which brings noticeable advantages in the wave, but also in kiteloops. On the other hand, this makes it particularly light and therefore excellent in drifting.

The Nexus 4 relies on the proven Future-C shape, which has been further optimized according to the demands of Nexus riders. Thanks to its moderate aspect ratio, it flies super-fast and direct, remains optimally perceptible and controllable in every turn. YOUR NEXUS – YOUR PREFERENCES
Three setting options to adjust your Nexus 4 to your personal preferences and external conditions:
1. Flight characteristics at the leading edge: In wave mode tight turning and more depower, in freestyle mode more constant pull and wider loops.
2. Turning characteristics at the tips: You can vary the steering forces and turning speed between “super easy – easy – medium” at the three loops on the tips.
3. Backline Tension and kite feedback at the connection points: choose from three different knots to adjust the directness of your control impulses.
SURF PROFILE
STABLE DRIFT AND HIGH MANEUVERABILITY
The wing profile is smoother and its highest point sits further back than on the XR8 and GTS6. The results in a super-stable drifting, even with significantly reduced tension on the control lines. Nevertheless, it comes alive in a flash as soon as you need some pull.
